The Feud – Live at the Goldthwaite Theatre
📅 Preformed one special night – Saturday, October 11, 2025Guests stepped back into Texas history with The Feud, a one-hour musical comedy by Texas Comedies. This fast-paced show brought to life the legendary Sutton–Taylor feud of the 1870s — the longest and bloodiest conflict in Texas history.
Audiences experienced wronged women, corrupt lawmen, outlaws, and a toe-tapping live band, all wrapped in sharp humor and unforgettable music.
Little Red and the Hoods
📅 Preformed two nights – Saturday, August, 2025 & Sunday, August 10, 2025This delightful tale of Little Red Riding Hood was presented with modern lessons for today’s children. In the story, Little Red was on her way to deliver cookies to her grandmother when she encountered Harry Wolf. Harry worked for the notorious gang leader, Ma Sugar Lump, and attempted to steal the cookie recipe. The pack of meanies planned to bake more cookies, sell them to others, and become rich—but fortunately, their plot failed.
The play taught young audiences not to judge others by their looks, how to protect themselves from strangers, and the importance of reading. With plenty of audience participation, the show was both fun and educational.
Vince King, Elvis Tribute Artist
📅 Performed – Saturday, August 30, 2025Audiences got ready to shake, rattle, and roll as nationally acclaimed tribute artist Vince King brought the King of Rock ’n’ Roll back to life for one unforgettable night at the Goldthwaite Theatre. From the iconic jumpsuits to the classic moves and legendary vocals, Vince King delivered an Elvis experience that had everyone all shook up.
Whether die-hard Elvis fans or those simply looking for a great evening of live entertainment, attendees enjoyed a memorable night of music and performance.

Complaint Department and Lemonade
📅 Preformed – October 11 - 13, 2024When life gave lemons, the complaint department opened its doors. This fast-paced comedy brought together quirky characters, snappy one-liners, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Complaint Department and Lemonade kept audiences grinning from start to finish as each new “customer” stepped up to air their grievances—only to discover that laughter truly was the best medicine.
The production was a wonderful showcase of local talent and teamwork, reminding everyone why live theatre is such a joy. With three performances across the weekend, the cast filled the Goldthwaite Theatre with energy, fun, and a strong spirit of community that left audiences smiling on the way home.
